Forma Cabinetry · South Florida

See your cabinetry before it is built.

Our cabinetry is designed to your exact measurements and presented as a 3D rendering, with materials and finishes to compare side by side. You approve the design; we manage production, delivery and installation.

What is included

Made to measure, from rendering to installation.

Cabinetry can be part of a larger remodel or a project on its own. Either way, the process is the same.

  1. 01

    Kitchens

Full kitchens, islands, pantries and appliance walls, with panel-ready appliances integrated into the design.

  2. 02

    Bathroom vanities

Floating and furniture-style vanities and storage made to fit the room, not the catalogue.

  3. 03

    Closets and dressing rooms

Hanging, drawers, shelving and lighting planned around what you actually store.

  4. 04

    Built-ins and media walls

Libraries, media walls, bars, mudrooms and window seats, detailed to the architecture of the house.

  5. 05

    Finishes and hardware

Wood veneers, lacquer and painted finishes, stone and hardware, compared side by side in the rendering.

  6. 06

    Production, delivery and installation

Managed by Forma from approval to the final adjustment, with one point of contact throughout.

How we plan it

Why we design cabinetry in 3D.

Cabinetry is expensive to change once it is built. A rendering lets you make the decisions while they are still easy.

See the seven-step process
  1. 01

    Exact measurements

We measure the room ourselves, including walls that are not square and floors that are not level.

  2. 02

    Compare finishes side by side

See door styles, veneers, colours and stone together before you choose, instead of from small samples.

  3. 03

    Approve before production

Production starts only after you approve the design, finishes and hardware.

  4. 04

    Coordinated with the trades

Plumbing, electrical and lighting positions are taken from the cabinet drawings, so everything lines up on site.

South Florida

Cabinetry for a humid climate.

Wood and wood-based panels move with humidity. Good cabinetry in South Florida accounts for that from the start.

Materials that stay stable

Box and door materials, sealed edges and finishes are chosen with humidity and air-conditioned interiors in mind.

Coastal hardware

Hinges, slides and pulls are specified for corrosion resistance where salt air is a factor.

Installation conditions

Cabinetry is delivered when the room is closed in and climate-controlled, so it is not installed into a damp space.

Light and finishes

Strong sunlight changes how colours and woods look and can fade them over time; we review finishes in the light of your room.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask

How much do custom kitchen cabinets cost?

Cost depends on the size of the kitchen, the construction, the finishes and hardware and how much of the room is cabinetry. We quote from your measurements and the approved design.

Is custom cabinetry better than semi-custom?

Custom cabinetry is built to your exact dimensions and details, which matters in rooms with unusual sizes or where cabinetry is a design feature. Semi-custom lines work well when standard sizes fit the room.

Can I order cabinetry without a full remodel?

Yes. Cabinetry can be a project on its own — a kitchen, a closet, a vanity or a built-in — and follows the same design, approval and installation process.

What happens after I approve the design?

Production starts, and we keep you updated on its progress and the delivery date. We then deliver, install and adjust the cabinetry, and walk through it with you.

Do you install countertops too?

Yes, when they are part of the scope. Stone is templated after the cabinets are installed so it fits the finished cabinetry exactly.
