Bathroom remodeling · South Florida
Bathrooms, detailed to last.
Most of what makes a bathroom last is hidden behind the tile: waterproofing, slopes, drains, ventilation and blocking. We plan those as carefully as the stone and fixtures you see, and write all of it into the scope.
- Written scope before work begins
- Visible schedule from day one
- Priced changes, approved first
- One point of contact throughout
What is included
From the membrane to the mirror.
Each bathroom is scoped from demolition to final trim, including the parts of the work you will never see once it is finished.
- 01
Layout and plumbing
Shower, tub, vanity and toilet positions planned to the room, including moving drains and supply lines where it makes sense.
- 02
Showers and waterproofing
Curbless or curbed showers, linear or point drains, niches and benches, over a waterproofing system named in your scope.
- 03
Stone and tile
Natural stone, porcelain slab and tile selected for slip resistance, maintenance and how they read together.
- 04
Vanities and storage
Floating or furniture-style vanities, medicine cabinets and linen storage — made to measure where standard sizes do not fit.
- 05
Lighting, mirrors and ventilation
Layered lighting, backlit mirrors, quiet exhaust ventilation and heated floors where the scope calls for them.
- 06
Fixtures and glass
Faucets, valves, shower systems and frameless glass, coordinated in one finish and ordered early.
How we plan it
The order that keeps water where it belongs.
Bathrooms are small rooms with many trades. Clear sequencing and early selections prevent rework.
See the seven-step process- 01
Assess what is behind the walls
Demolition can reveal old plumbing, damaged subfloor or past leaks. We explain how anything found is priced and approved before it is fixed.
- 02
Choose fixtures before rough-in
Valve bodies and drains are set inside the walls and floor, so fixture selections come before plumbing rough-in.
- 03
Test before tile
Waterproofing is checked before stone and tile go over it, when a problem can still be corrected.
- 04
Confirm every finish together
Stone, tile, metal finish and glass are approved as a set so the room reads as one design.
South Florida
What South Florida asks of a bathroom.
Warm, humid air and older plumbing in many homes make detailing more important here, not less.
Moisture management
Exhaust ventilation sized for the room, vapor-aware wall assemblies and finishes that tolerate humidity help prevent mildew.
Older homes
Many South Florida homes have original cast-iron or galvanized plumbing. We look for it during the site visit and scope replacement where it is needed.
Condominium bathrooms
Bathrooms above other units carry more risk. Associations often require approvals and insurance before work starts, and waterproofing deserves extra care.
Accessibility and ageing in place
Curbless entries, wider doors, blocking for future grab bars and comfort-height fixtures can be planned now at little extra cost.

FAQ
Questions homeowners ask
What does a bathroom remodel cost in Miami?
Cost depends on the size of the room, whether plumbing moves, the shower and waterproofing design and the stone, tile and fixture selections. We price each bathroom from a site visit and a written scope.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
Your proposal includes a schedule for your project. Fixture and stone lead times, permit review and the number of trades involved usually decide the overall duration.
Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
Usually, yes. The site visit confirms floor structure, drain location and how a curbless or low-curb shower can be built in your room.
Do you remodel bathrooms in condominiums?
Yes. We work within the association’s approval process, insurance requirements and working hours.
What happens if you find damage behind the walls?
We show you what we found, explain the options and price any extra work in writing. Nothing outside the scope proceeds until you approve it.
