Process
Seven steps, no surprises.
Beautiful remodeling should not require accepting chaos. Each step has an owner, a date and a decision you can see — and each one ends with something you can hold us to.
The seven steps
-
01
Consultation
A conversation about your home, your goals, your timeline and the investment you have in mind.
- You receive
- Whether we are the right fit, and what the next step looks like.
- We need from you
- Photos of the space if you have them, and anything you have already collected.
-
02
Site visit
We measure, photograph and assess existing conditions: plumbing, electrical, structure and anything that limits the design.
- You receive
- A clear picture of what the space allows and what it needs.
- We need from you
- Access to the home, and association rules if you live in a condominium.
-
03
Design & scope
Layouts, materials and a written scope take shape together, so the design and the price stay connected.
- You receive
- Plans and a scope listing inclusions, exclusions and allowances.
- We need from you
- Feedback on layouts and early material direction.
-
04
Proposal
Scope, renderings, schedule and investment, presented together in one document.
- You receive
- One document to review and approve, with nothing left implied.
- We need from you
- Questions, changes and, when you are ready, approval.
-
05
Selections
Finishes, fixtures, stone and cabinetry confirmed before construction, with long-lead items first.
- You receive
- Approved selections and order dates on the schedule.
- We need from you
- Decisions on the dates shown in the schedule.
-
06
Construction
Permits, procurement and building, with regular updates on progress and upcoming decisions.
- You receive
- A visible schedule, one point of contact, and any change priced and approved before it happens.
- We need from you
- Approvals for any changes, and access as agreed.
-
07
Final walkthrough
A room-by-room review together before we close out the project.
- You receive
- A completed punch list and a documented close-out.
- We need from you
- Your review, room by room.
Commitments
What every project includes.
- 01
Written scope
Inclusions, exclusions and allowances in writing before anything is built.
- 02
Visible schedule
A plan you can see from day one, with the decisions we need from you and when.
- 03
Priced changes, approved first
Any change is priced and its schedule effect shown before work proceeds.
- 04
One point of contact
One person who knows your project, answers for it and tells you what comes next.
